Initiation of a strategic partnership with Johnson & Johnson Hellas, focusing on the distribution of ETHICON branded consumables, globally recognized for their superior quality in the field of surgical care.
 

Acquisition of privately-owned offices and warehouse facilities in Agia Paraskevi, Attica.

Expansion into the specialized field of interventional cardiology, through the acquisition of the CORDIS brand representation from Johnson & Johnson.

Certification of the company’s service quality and operational procedures by TUV HELLAS, in accordance with the international ISO 9001 standard. At the same time, the company complies with Ministerial Decision E3/833, later replaced by Decision 1348/2004, ensuring ongoing adherence to the regulatory framework governing businesses in the healthcare sector. This certification remains active to this day, reaffirming the company’s commitment to quality and safety.

The company supplies all the medical stations in sport and non-sport venues during the Athens Olympics. MEDICARE HELLAS S.A. is responsible for packaging and supplying first aid kits with medical disposables and other medical products for 220 emergency stations throughout Greece.

MEDICARE HELLAS S.A. moves its headquarters to Gerakas, Attica, into new modern premises fully equipped with IT logistic systems, with sufficient storage areas and a room for seminars and presentations.

The company enters into an agreement with YLOGIMED belonging to the HYGEIA Group, act as representative for reusable laparoscopic instruments, as well as anaesthesiology supplies for the UK firms SMITHS MEDICAL INTERNATIONAL and FLEXICARE MEDICAL.

MEDICARE HELLAS S.A. opens its subsidiary branch in Thessaloniki thus developing strong presence in the Northern Greek territory.

MEDICARE HELLAS S.A. is established in the region of Crete, with a dedicated sales person, in order to meet the increasing demands of the market.

MEDICARE HELLAS S.A. becomes one of the main representatives for Johnson & Johnson’s medical sector. It supplies the brand's products to healthcare professionals of all specialities in both the public and private sectors.

The company markets the reusable laparoscopic instruments of German manufacturer ACKERMANN, as well as general surgery instruments crafted by the leading German manufacturer MEDICON.

The company actively immerged in the Cardio field by acquiring the exclusive distribution of OCCLUTECH International products.

Project management for the setting-up of Mykonos South East Aigaion (SEA) Medical Health Clinic. Further expansion of domestic selling points & development of exporting activity abroad.

Portfolio enrichment with the quality products of Pressure Products USA, the innovative medical devices of CVRx, USA for Hypertension & Heart Failure treatment and of the leading European company BASTOS VIEGAS, Portugal, in the field of non-active medical devices (medical drapes, sets etc).

Within the year, headquarters relocated to a spacious building with a two-storey warehouse area, in the business hub of Chalandri, Attica.

Taking into consideration that heart diseases are rapidly increasing, MEDICARE HELLAS S.A. developed a cardio division staffed by young high qualified people specialized in cardio field.

The company stands out as one of the healthiest growing company in Greece and it was honored with the “Diamonds of the Greek Economy” Excellence Award.

Also, Inc. magazine included MEDICARE HELLAS S.A. on the 2016 Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private company in Europe over the past three years.

MEDICARE HELLAS S.A. expands its activity in Cardio section by acquiring the exclusive distribution of Cordis products, Cardinal Health Company in Greece.

Furthermore, the company undertakes the distribution of  Livanova, Sorin Cardiac Surgery products (Heart Valves).

Commencement of collaboration with the manufacturer Venus Medtech.

The company expands its quality management system with certification according to the international standard ISO 13485, which pertains to compliance with international quality standards in the production and management of medical devices. At the same time, it received ISO 14001 certification for environmental management, confirming its commitment to sustainable development and compliance with environmental obligations.
